About The Guide
Matt has fished most of his life and has spent the last decade pursuing a variety of trophy-class species with a passion for catching largemouth bass. Now only 28 years old, Matt has amassed 50 bass heavier than 10 lbs, the largest weighing in at 17.2 lbs. These fish were caught on 11 different bodies of water in a variety of weather, which proves that he is willing and able to adapt to changing conditions. Most recently, Matt's passion turned toward trophy spotted and smallmouth bass.
Matt stands apart from the crowd because of his willingness to share bass fishing with anyone willing to learn. While many anglers were becoming secretive, he began filming videos, writing articles and speaking out about the techniques used for targeting world-class fish.
Now Matt is taking it one step further by giving you the opportunity to spend a day on the water with him. In addition to learning his techniques first hand, he will spend the day teaching you why it works. At the end of the day you will leave with more than a photo and a memory, you'll leave with teachings that can be applied to your home waters.
